Data components have several properties to which you can assign styles. This component has two additional properties, OddStyle and EvenStyle, in addition to the standard ComponentStyle property. These properties are used to highlight alternate rows in the report.

By default these properties are not set, but if you assign an appropriate style to each property, the report generator will apply those styles to even and odd rows when rendering the report. In the example below, a style with a different background color is applied to the alternate row.
