Page header band

The page header band is for printing information such as page number, date, company information, etc. at the top of the page. The page header band is printed at the top of each page in the report. You can place an unlimited number of page header bands on one page.

 caution:The number of page header bands that can be placed on a page is virtually unlimited, except for the available space.

example

Create a new report and drop 3 bands on the page. A "page header" band that displays the current page number and the number of pages in the report, a "data" band that outputs data, and a "header" band that outputs data column headers. Drop the text component in the page header band and enter the following expression in the Text Properties Editor.

{PageNofM}

 caution:Instead of entering an expression, you can also select the expression from the system variables in the Expression Editor.

The result is as follows.

If you run the report now, you'll see that the page numbers are printed at the top of each page.
