In our report, we have the ability to edit some of the components of the rendered report in the viewer, or preview tab. As a general rule, this should be done before printing or exporting. The modifiable components are:

 text;

 text in a cell;

 rich text;

 Checkbox ;

To make report components editable, you must set the Editable property of these components to Yes. You can then modify these components using tools called editors within the viewer. Editing a text component means changing the text, editing a checkbox means changing the value (true or false).

For PDF, Word:

By default, when you export a PDF document, you can edit it. However, it is possible to include a mode that allows editing after export only for report components that have the editable property enabled. If set to No, all components can be edited unless restricted by safety parameters. If you select Yes, only components that have their Editable property enabled can be edited. Word documents can also be edited. However, you can use the Restrict Editing parameter to allow editing only for components whose Editable property is set to Yes. In this case, set Restrict Editing to Exclude editable fields.
