A child band is a band that follows that band.

In the image above, the child bands are placed after the report title, but each is a continuation of this report title band. There is no limit to the number of ChildBands that can be placed on one page.

The image above shows two child bands as a continuation of the report title band. For example, let's say you have a report whose title consists of several lines. Placing that text in the report title band would visually look completely incorrect.

Using the GrowToHeight property doesn't look good.

Therefore, it may be better to express the title of the report with a child band.

In the image below, the report title is placed in the report title band and two child bands.
