The RichText component has a special editor. This editor can load and save RTF text, change fonts, sizes, colors, paste formulas, and more. This editor allows you to edit RTF text without using third party editors. The editor is invoked by double-clicking the RichText component. This editor contains the following tabs:

 formula. Specify text here. You can edit the text here using a set of special tools.

 Data column. Specifies a data column that contains rich text.

 File. Load a file containing rich text.

 URLs . Specify the URL of the source using rich text.

The following image shows the Rich Text Editor with the Expression tab open.

[open]button. Open a dialog to load a saved *.rtf file.

[keep]button. Open a dialog and save the text as *.rtf.

[insert]button. Show the data dictionary tree.

[Undo]button and [redo]button.

font buttoncalls the window's font to setup.

font face field. This field shows the current type of font name. This field also contains a dropdown list of values that provide the ability to change the font type without invoking the Font Settings dialog box.

font size field. This field displays the font size value. This field also contains a dropdown list of values that provide the ability to change the font size without invoking the font settings window.

 bold,Italic,underline button..

superscript button. This provides the ability to align the text above the previous text. For example, exponent.

color buttonPress Call the menu to change the text color.

Placement of text: Align Left, Align Center, Align Right, Justify.

bullet button. Enable text bullets.
