The Step property is used to change the step between ticks, which is the distance between adjacent major ticks. By default, the value of the Step property is set to 0. Below is an example chart with Step installed to the default of 0.

As you can see, a value of 0 means the distance between two adjacent major ticks is 0.5 on the Y axis and 1 on the X axis. If you set the Step property to a Z value, the report generator will multiply the Z value by the unit interval value. The result is the distance between two adjacent Major ticks. Below is an example chart with the Y-axis step set to 1,5 and the X-axis value set to 1.
